Answers to the things people ask most. Still stuck? Email hello@dialedin.online and a person will read it.
Contact us
Email hello@dialedin.online. Tell us your iPhone model, your iOS version and what happened. If it's about another person, include their username. Please don't send passwords or codes.
Press, creators and privacy requests go to the same inbox: hello@dialedin.online.
Sign-in code not arriving
- Check your spam or junk folder for an email from Dialed.
- Codes are 6 digits. You can ask for a new one after 60 seconds; the newest code is the one that works.
- Check the email address for typos on the code screen, which shows where it was sent.
- You can also use Sign in with Apple, which needs no code.
You never need an account to use Dialed on your own phone. It's only for backup, friends and crews.
Restore, cancel or refund
Restore Pro or Max
Open the Dialed Pro page (top of Settings) and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought with. With Family Sharing, the person who bought it has to have sharing turned on.
Cancel
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Go to iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Dialed and tap Cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app or your Dialed account does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds
Apple handles refunds, not us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Blocking isn't working
- Blocking uses Apple's Screen Time controls, so it needs a real iPhone on iOS 26 or later and Screen Time access for Dialed. Open Focus › Blocking; it tells you if access is off and how to turn it back on.
- Check the block is running: a Lock-in, a schedule like "School · weekdays 8:00 to 15:00", or a quick block.
- A soft block shows a reminder with a way through. A hard block has no way through until it ends, except I need real help, which opens everything for 10 minutes, twice a day.
- If you just changed the apps you block, give it a few seconds, then reopen the blocked app.
Alarms and notifications
- Alarm didn't ring: make sure alarms are allowed for Dialed in Settings › Permissions inside Dialed (or iPhone Settings › Dialed). Alarms need a real iPhone.
- Too many notifications: each kind can be turned off on its own in Settings › Notifications inside Dialed.
- Nothing is important enough to blast you except the things you mark critical yourself.
Claiming your @ from the waitlist
- When you make your account (or later, in Friends), tap Saved an @ on the waitlist? and paste your claim key. If we sent you a new key, the link in that message works too.
- Your claim key is on your card at dialedin.online, in the browser you joined on: Copy claim key or Save as image. Your invite code (
DIA-…) can't claim anything. - Lost it? Email hello@dialedin.online with your @. We'll send a new key to the email (if you tapped Confirm in our email) or Instagram you gave when you joined, never anywhere else, and the old key stops working. If you gave neither, we can't prove the @ is yours, so we can't send one.
Reporting someone
In the app, open the person from your friends list, a challenge or a crew and tap Report or Block. Blocking works straight away. We aim to look at every report within 24 hours. You can also email hello@dialedin.online with their username. Read more on the Safety page.
